Tell Utah Lawmakers: Vote NO on SB 211

Help Protect Consumers and Local Businesses

The Utah Senate is considering SB 211, deeply misguided legislation that would overturn the Utah Supreme Court’s decision in Gardner v. Norman. That decision helps ensure medical damages in lawsuits are based on what was actually paid, not on inflated hospital billing rates that no one ever pays. Overturning it would open the door to “phantom damages,” likely leading to increased costs for businesses and higher prices for consumers.

We need your help to urge lawmakers to oppose this bill and help keep costs down in Utah. Please review and send your message to your state senator and Governor Cox today.
